THEIR RULES - NOT THE CITY'S!

Updated: Aug 16, 2021

The standards in their Specific plan override all of our ordinances, which conform to our General Plan.

"Whenever the Specific Plan contains provisions that establish regulations, including, but not limited to, uses, densities, intensities, and height, floor area, lot area and coverage, setback, parking, open space, and landscaping requirements, which are different from, or more restrictive or permissive than would be allowed pursuant to the provisions of the SMMC, the Specific Plan shall prevail and supersede the applicable provisions of the SMMC."

"If conflicts occur between the standards contained in this Specific Plan and those found in the City of Sierra Madre Municipal Code (SMMC), the development standards in the Meadows at Bailey Canyon Specific Plan shall supersede all provisions, standards, and requirements of the City’s Zoning Ordinance"
